Tiffany Phillip-Cheeks was born on September 16, 1983. She began dancing at the age of 3 and entered dance ministry at age 6. Throughout her life she received training in ballet, modern, African, and hip hop. 

   In addition to her dance education, she received her Bachelors in Family and Consumer Sciences from Morgan State University as well as her Masters of Human Services Administration from the University of Baltimore. 

   She began dancing in a dance ensemble in 2015. While she was comfortable there, God had another plan. In 2017, God tugged on her heart to pour into her church’s dance ministry instead. She was obedient and that October, Appointed Vessels was born. What started as her church’s dance ministry branched out into a community based ministry that accepts ministers of movement from all over Baltimore.
